Jasmeen Anjali Siddiqui

Jasmeen Anjali Siddiqui is a baby-faced, Lisbon-based writer attempting to make sense of the world by dreaming up many smaller ones. She has published short stories, academic essays, and poetry, and her short film ‘Slide’ screened at the Forest City Film Festival and placed second at the Western Smartphone Film Festival. She currently works as a journalist while furiously typing out screenplays and a novel in her free time. Moving between various forms of expression—from writing to singing to muddled thoughts and especially fruitless rants—she seeks to find and tell stories that illuminate the fantastic, terrible, magical, hilarious, and high-stakes worlds of our normal little lives.
